Job DescriptionElectrical Designer/Drafter AutoCAD Drafter/Designer (Electrical)
We have an immediate role open for an Designer/Drafter where you'll create precise AutoCAD drawings and schematics that support industrial electrical control systems, including electrical panels, control systems, industrial electrical systems.
- Produce and update electrical panel designs, update schematics, layouts, and blueprints
- Interpret engineering and customer requirements into accurate designs, and when needed work to revise drawings to reflect project changes
- Ensure compliance with codes and company standards
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams internally, and with customers externally when/as needed
- Conduct quality checks on dimensions and tolerances
- Maintain organized drawing records, track updates, changes, and keep good records.
If you bring the following to the role, this may be a good fit:
- We would prefer those with an Associate's degree or CAD/drafting certification, or 5+ years of experience if no degree
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency - Strong ELECTRICAL design experience, hands on!
- Background in electrical design drafting
- Knowledge of PLC HMI development preferred
- Excellent math, problem solving, and attention to detail
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards
- Skilled in Microsoft Office tools
