H&H Shooting Sports is seeking a detail-oriented Cashier to support accurate financial transactions and ensure strict compliance with federal firearm regulations. This role requires experience with ATF Form 4473, strong knowledge of firearm types and terminology, and professional customer service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Process customer payments accurately (cash, check, credit/debit).
Review and verify ATF Form 4473 for completeness, accuracy, and proper identification.
Apply knowledge of firearm classifications and terminology to ensure FFL compliance.
Address and resolve discrepancies or incomplete documentation before final approval.
Assist with returns, exchanges, and issuing refunds per company policy.
Maintain balanced cash drawers and complete end-of-day procedures.
Support closing procedures and maintain organized records.
Greet and assist customers, offering accurate product information—especially on firearms and accessories.
Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local firearm laws and company policies.

Expectations

Use downtime productively and continue improving product knowledge.
Maintain professionalism and follow company policies regarding systems, breaks, and device use.
Demonstrate genuine interest in the shooting sports industry.

Qualifications

Firearm or ATF Form 4473 experience required.
Ability to perform basic math and operate POS systems.
Excellent attention to detail and strong communication/customer service skills.

Physical Demands

Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand tasks.
Visual acuity necessary to complete forms and use computer systems.
