Summary

Boundless Childcare Preschool is now hiring a dynamic Assistant Teacher for our 2 1/2-Year-Old Classroom, working with children 30 months-42 months. The ideal candidate would have a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, a positive and supportive attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow. This position is brand-new to our Merit site in Decatur, IN, serving children not 2 1/2 year olds -age 8.

Duties

• Assist in the planning and implementation of activities consistent with the curriculum
• Documenting children's growth and development
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
• Create and implement a learning environment that is conducive to learning
• Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that all students are learning together
• Communicate with families regularly to build partnerships and ensure the well-being of their children

Requirements

Experience/Education:

• Minimum Highschool Diploma/Equivalent
• Experience working with children
• Passion for working with children

Nice To Haves

CDA and/or Associates Degree in Early Childhood/related field
