At Crystal Springs in Assonet, MA, we're on a mission to provide children and adults with disabilities with individualized, compassionate educational, therapeutic, and direct care support. We're seeking an equally passionate, respectful, and inclusive person to join us as a full-time Teacher's Aide and work in a classroom with our special education teacher. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS FOR OUR TEACHER'S AIDE
- Competitive pay of up to $17.50 - $19 per hour

We also offer tuition reimbursement for waived special education teachers! If you meet the following criteria, you're eligible for reimbursement:
- Employment as a Crystal Springs waived special education teacher
- Enrollment in an approved educator preparation program for severe disabilities
- Demonstration of continuous progress in second (and subsequent) years
- Evaluation rating of "Needs Improvement" or higher in the preceding school year
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
Here's what to expect in this entry-level role:
- Working with the special education teacher to support assigned students with educational, therapeutic, and direct care services
- Gaining an understanding of the Massachusetts curriculum framework
- Helping the teacher maintain accurate student records
- Performing vital direct care support to assigned students, such as eating, toileting, personal hygiene, etc.
- Discussing students' progress with the teacher and providing input during evaluation periods
- Leading activities and performing direct care services on teacher planning days
