Early Childhood Specialist/Respite Provider

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Early Childhood professional with Montessori experience to work in a small program for children of various ages, primarily 0 to 6 years. This position will also have the opportunity to work with older children and children with special needs part time. This position starts at $17/hour and increases with experience and education.

ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will be nurturing while maintaining classroom standards and able to collaboratively develop lesson plans.

• You will play a vital role in providing quality education and support to young children.
• Your expertise and compassion will help shape their early development and create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, in collaboration with parents, guardians, and other professionals
• Assess students' skills and abilities to determine their educational needs and create appropriate goals and objectives

Required SkillsRequirements:

• Reliable Transportation
• Childcare experience, preferred but not required
• CPR/First Aid obtained prior to start
• Successful background check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, colleagues, and support staff.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Early Childhood Education: 2 year (Preferred)
• Toddler care: 1 year (Preferred)
• Montessori (Preferred)
