Position Overview
We're hiring a Controls Engineer for a top automation and robotics firm. The role centers on troubleshooting and programming PLC/HMI systems, designing control and power systems, integrating safety and network infrastructure, and supporting system testing and startup.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for control and power distribution.
- Write, test, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs.
- Document and organize programs using standard methods.
- Set up machine safety systems and industrial networks.
- Work with engineers to ensure smooth system integration.
- Assist with testing, debugging, and system startup activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Control Systems Engineer in industrial automation
- Proficient in PLC and HMI programming, especially with Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms
- Strong troubleshooting skills with hands-on experience in control logic and system diagnostics
- Solid understanding of electrical design, machine safety standards, and industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, etc.)
