A background in automation or integration services is highly valued, along with strong proficiency in troubleshooting and programming PLCs and HMIs-especially using Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms.

Position Overview
We're hiring a Controls Engineer for a top automation and robotics firm. The role centers on troubleshooting and programming PLC/HMI systems, designing control and power systems, integrating safety and network infrastructure, and supporting system testing and startup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems for control and power distribution.
  • Write, test, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs.
  • Document and organize programs using standard methods.
  • Set up machine safety systems and industrial networks.
  • Work with engineers to ensure smooth system integration.
  • Assist with testing, debugging, and system startup activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Control Systems Engineer in industrial automation
  • Proficient in PLC and HMI programming, especially with Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with hands-on experience in control logic and system diagnostics
  • Solid understanding of electrical design, machine safety standards, and industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, etc.)
