Job Title: Advance Planner
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Advance Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing the master production schedule to ensure timely completion of projects. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a master production schedule to establish the sequence and lead time of each job to meet proposed completion dates.
- Develop new schedules or revise existing ones based on work order specifications, priorities, and resource availability.
- Compile and analyze reports concerning work progress and downtime to inform production planning personnel of any delays.
- Plan and schedule workflow for each department and operation according to established lead times.
- Determine the sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations to guide production workers.
- Confer with department supervisors to assess the status of assigned projects and address any issues.
- Expedite operations that may delay schedules and adjust schedules to accommodate unforeseen conditions.
- Prepare production reports.
Skills:

- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.

Requirements:
- Secret Security Clearance
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office
- Experience overseeing the alteration of US Navy surface vessels in accordance with established Navy Modernization Plan-Management Operations Manual
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- CAPM or PMP recommended
