Hammer Made is a growing Minneapolis-based men’s clothing designer with a distinctive collection of limited-run shirts, apparel and accessories. This position is located at the Galleria in Edina, MN.

Our Stylists are the stars of our business. Through building a loyal customer base and driving positive sales results, our Stylists are true brand ambassadors with roll-up-your-sleeves mentalities and an excitement for our products and the impact they have on our customers’ lives. Essential Job Duties

Achieve Sales Results

  • Create a positive, friendly, and consultative service-oriented customer environment that prioritizes customer relationships and sets Hammer Made apart from other stores.
  • Ring up sales on POS system
  • Fill in product on sales floor.
  • Ensure store is clean, organized and merchandised. (Shirts buttoned, clothing hung and folded properly)
  • Handles customer situations in compliance with policy and procedures; escalates issues as appropriate.


Operational Expectations

  • Ensures company standards of neat, clean and organized sales floor, cash wrap and fitting room areas are met.
  • Take part in visual merchandising initiatives. Help execute and ensure a top quality, appealing, merchandise assortment that promotes effective sales and store traffic.
  • Assists with promotion of in-store events and promotions to increase the customer base, with particular focus on building the Hammer Made brand.
  • Collaborates effectively with other store locations and be willing to help out as needed at other Hammer Made stores in the Twin Cities if needed.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • 1-2 years of successful retail experience and/or customer service experience, preferred


Work Environment This job operates in a retail store environment.


Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  1. Physical requirements include: standing and being mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time, walking, stooping, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
  2. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a part-time position with hours available on Weekends to meet business needs. Schedules include day and evening shifts during the weekend. Open to occasional helping at other Hammer Made stores as needed if extra hours are desired.
