Billable Requirement: 1980 Hours/Year (Non-Negotiable)
Overview:
We are partnered with a well-regarded litigation firm is seeking a skilled Mid to Senior-Level Attorney with a strong background in insurance defense. This is a fully remote position limited to candidates residing in Southern California, with occasional in-person attendance required.
Key Responsibilities:

Independently manage a caseload of complex insurance defense matters

Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence

Represent clients at depositions, hearings, and trials as needed

Provide case strategy and regular updates to clients and carriers

Collaborate with partners and staff in a remote environment
Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school and active California bar license
-
Minimum 5 years of civil litigation experience, with an emphasis on insurance defense preferred

Strong legal writing, communication, and analytical skills
-
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

Must reside in Southern California
Additional Details:

Remote Work: Fully remote, with flexibility in daily scheduling

Billable Requirement: 1980 hours annually; must be confirmed prior to interview

Bonus: $45/hour for all hours billed above 1980
