Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic Support Staff Member to join our team! This position provides flexible classroom coverage across all age groupsfrom infants to preschoolensuring a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for all children. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, and passionate about working with young children.

You are passionate about learning and love working with children. With strong creative and organizational skills, you are able to connect with individual students and develop strong relationships with faculty to create an engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide classroom support by filling in for lead and assistant teachers during breaks, absences, or high staff-to-child ratio times

  • Assist in implementing lesson plans and daily activities as guided by the classroom teachers

  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment

  • Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times

  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff

  • Support transitions between activities, meals, naps, and outdoor play

  • Follow all licensing regulations, center policies, and health and safety procedures

  • Attend team meetings and required trainings as scheduled

  • Provide coverage in multiple classrooms (Infants, Toddlers, Preschool, Pre-K) as needed




Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a state and federal background check
  • A year of previous teaching assistant experience preferred
  • High-energy with a love of working with children
  • Organized and detail-oriented
