We’re hiring a paralegal to be the main point of contact between our office and the clients. Our paralegals assist our attorneys in preparing legal documents, filing motions, coordinating law office activity, and conducting legal research.

Compensation:
$55,000 - $70,000 yearly DOE
Responsibilities:
- Gather information about legal issues from the client in interviews
- Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings such as complaints, interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits, under the supervision of a lawyer
- Work with lawyers to prepare for trial by conducting research on legal articles, preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, filing motions, and assisting with client meetings
- Take care of administrative tasks such as answering phones and maintaining an organized filing system for all legal documents
- Arrange law office activity such as drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers
Qualifications:
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar
- 3+ years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
- Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills
- Familiarity with Clio, Westlaw FormBuilder, and Excel preferred
- Must have experience dealing with emotional clients
- Candidates should excel at managing caseloads and meeting billable hour requirements
