MINIMUM 2 YEARS OF COMPUTER-CONTROLLED MACHINE OPERATING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Connect Staffing is seeking a skilled Machine Operator for a company that manufactures various types of faucets for businesses and homes in the city of Huntington Beach, CA.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, full-time from 2:15 am-11:00 pm.
Requirements of a Machine Operator:
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing similar work in a related field such as Manufacturing, or a Machine Shop is preferred.
- Hands-on and working knowledge of mechanical and computer-controlled machinery.
- Familiarity with computer programming and measuring tools.
- Previous experience with vacuum equipment or a related industry is strongly desired.
- Experience in a vacuum coating field is a plus.
- Knowledge of PVD Coatings is a plus.
- Prior experience in roles such as CNC Operator, Coating Machine Operator, Production Machine Operator, Manufacturing Technician, Mechanical Operator, or Process Technician is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:
- Operating and maintaining PVD coating machines according to company specifications.
- Minimizing equipment downtime through preventative maintenance procedures.
- Maintaining and updating equipment PM logs.
- Learning fixturing techniques and orientation requirements for proper PVD processing.
- Providing training assistance to other employees.
- Assisting with quality assurance and other technical matters.
- Product handling, including properly fixturing onto racks.
- Loading and unloading fixtured components from the coating machine to maintain production flow.
- Quality control of uncoated and coated parts and deposition processes.
- Troubleshooting of potential machine failures.
- Supporting our engineering team.
- Monitoring and ensuring availability of appropriate supplies of process gases.
- Raising any machining or quality issues with appropriate supervision or engineering support.
- Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and following prescribed safety regulations.
- Performing additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
