Job DescriptionEstate Planning Attorney
A highly regarded law firm with decades of service is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join its Salt Lake City office. This role offers the opportunity to work with a well-established client base and handle complex estate planning matters, including trust administration, wealth preservation, business succession planning, and related tax issues. The ideal candidate will bring strong client relationship skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional legal counsel.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary range: $130,000 - $170,000, depending on experience

Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in Utah and in good standing
- 3+ years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, and related areas
- Strong knowledge of estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax laws
- Excellent drafting skills, including wills, trusts, and related documents
- Ability to manage client relationships with discretion and professionalism
- Experience with business succession planning and tax planning is highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on estate planning, wealth transfer strategies, and trust administration
- Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
- Handle probate and trust administration matters
- 1700 Billable Hours Annual
- Provide guidance on tax implications related to estate planning and wealth preservation
- Assist with business succession planning for closely held companies
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships built on trust and exceptional service
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to deliver comprehensive legal solutions
