We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Pole Inspector to join our team at K&A Engineering in Long Island, New York. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a real impact in the energy and utility sectors. Role Expectations:
- Perform accurate field data collection related to overhead electric power lines and associated utility infrastructure
- Conduct field measurements and surveys to support the development of engineering design plans
- Interpret and redline construction prints and field documents to reflect current field conditions
- Prepare detailed work orders, including materials specifications and equipment requirements
- Operate effectively in diverse weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and wind
- Interact professionally with customers, property owners, and the public while conducting fieldwork
- Walk long distances across varied terrain while carrying tools and equipment as needed for inspections
- Update and extract information from computerized systems and mobile field devices with accuracy and efficiency
- Proactively identify safety risks in the field and take appropriate action to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
- Participate in maintaining a culture of safety by reporting near misses, unsafe conditions, and adhering to job site safety protocols
What we’re looking for:
- High school Diploma
- 3-5+ years of fielding experience in utility or construction industries
- Ability to accurately collect and document data
- Must have current US Work authorization and a valid US Driver License in good standing
- Must be able to travel daily to different sites for Field Inspection services
Pay Range: $25-$35/hour

The salary range for this role considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to technical ability, experience and training, licenses and certifications, and other related skillsets.
