About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Jira Administrator with hands-on experience in Atlassian Cloud migration to join our growing team. This role is critical in managing, optimizing, and migrating our Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.) from on-premises or server environments to the cloud. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for improving team productivity through smart tooling and automation.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence environments.
  • Lead and execute the migration of Jira and Confluence from Server/Data Center to Atlassian Cloud.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, configure workflows, custom fields, permissions, and automation rules.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Implement best practices for user management, security, and data integrity.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and integrate third-party apps and plugins as needed.
  • Stay current with Atlassian product updates and industry trends.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Jira Administrator or similar role.
  • 3+ years as Scrum Master experience in agile or Scaled Agile environment
  • 3+ years for experience as Project Management or Program Management
  • Proven experience with Atlassian Cloud migration projects.
  • Strong understanding of Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, and automation.
  • Experience with Confluence administration and integration with Jira.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Access, SSO, and user provisioning.
  • Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Groovy, Python, or Bash) is a plus.
  • Experience with REST APIs and integration with other tools (e.g., Slack, GitHub, Jenkins).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator or similar certification.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, SAFe and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with ITSM and ITIL frameworks.
  • Experience with other Atlassian tools like Bitbucket, Bamboo, or Trello.
