Job DescriptionGreat Manufacturing Company Seeking a Drying Operator for a 1st shift
Position Title: Blending operator
Mixing Operator
Location: Mira Loma, CA
Working Hours: Schedule: M-Th, 6:00am – 4:30pm, 40 regular hours Alternate Work Schedule (9 – 11 weeks per year, work M-F, 6:00am – 2:30pm, 40 regular hours
Pay Rate: $18 – 19/hr. DOE
Type: Temp to Hire
Job Duties:
- Preparing and weighing raw materials and loading them into drying machine (max 25 lbs.).
- Checking operation status throughout (vibration, amperage).
- Scrape powder residue from machine, load powder, seal and load drums onto pallets (at times, do up to four lots per day).
- LOD measurement.
- Wrap pallets and move to storage.
- Complete documentation.
- Clean machinery, used equipment, drums, floors.
- Experience with lifting (50 lbs. + requires two persons, or under 50 lbs. according to ability).
Job requirements:
- High school Diploma is required
Safety shoes - Ability to read, comprehend, write simple instructions. Ability to add, subtract two-digit numbers, divide with 10’s and 100’s (using weight, measurement and volume).
