Job Description
- Implement and manage endpoint security infrastructure, with a primary focus on the Trellix Endpoint Security environment
- Work with a team of ESS engineers, ensuring the security and compliance of all endpoints within the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
- Support the Cyber Applications Delivery Teams with Operational & Maintenance (O&M) activities associated with all cybersecurity applications within the MDA environment
- Complete required training and certifications necessary to obtain privileged accounts to complete O&M tasks
- Assist in the administration and maintenance of the cybersecurity suite of applications to include: Account management, Patching/updates, Troubleshooting/issue resolution, Deploying agents
- Assist in the planning and implementation of new cybersecurity tools
- Assist in troubleshooting and solving complex technical issues independently and/or with the help of teammates
- Assist with developing and updating documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures
- Provide support for after-hour maintenance window work, as needed
- Assist with other applicable cybersecurity tasks as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent required
- Associate’s Degree in management or other relevant discipline preferred
- Must have, or obtain within 3 months of start date, a HBSS administrator training certification
- Must have a current Security+ certification and be enrolled in Continuing Education (CE)
Experience:
- 1+ years of professional experience in the required task area
- Experience with Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) such as Trellix (formerly McAfee), Tanium or Elastic
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux environment troubleshooting
- Experience with STIGs, IAVMs, CTOs, OPORDs and DISA Endpoint Security requirements
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux environment troubleshooting
- Familiarity with the MDA and BMDS programs
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: $85,000 - 103,000
