Maintenance Technician – Night Shift | Food & Beverage Manufacturing | Indianapolis, IN
Direct Hire | $33–$40/hr + $1/hr shift differential | 2-2-3 Schedule (6PM–6AM)

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting production operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment. You’ll also help keep facility systems like boilers and chillers running efficiently to support consistent beverage production.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production line equipment including fillers, seamers, case packers, conveyors, palletizers, and blending systems
- Perform preventive maintenance, lubrication, and adjustments to minimize downtime
- Diagnose and repair mechanical systems including gearboxes, bearings, motors, pumps, valves, and conveyor systems
- Support electrical troubleshooting and repairs on motors, wiring, and control systems
- Maintain and repair facility equipment such as boilers, chillers, and air compressors
- Collaborate with peers and leadership to improve maintenance procedures and equipment uptime
- Follow all safety and Lockout/Tagout procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in food or beverage manufacturing (required)
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Hands-on experience with boilers, chillers, conveyors, and filling/packaging systems
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
- Self-motivated, safety-conscious, and team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to work the overnight shift (6PM–6AM, 2-2-3 rotation)
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $33–$40/hour + $1/hour shift differential
- Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating nights (every other weekend off)
