Qualifications:
- Energetic, positive attitude, integrity, and a good worth ethic
- Fluent in Spanish is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, while proficiency with legal software such as Lexis Nexis a plus
- Experience providing executive administrative support, preferably in personal injury or other legal office setting
- Strong writing skills and careful attention to detail is required
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are required
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and with accuracy is required

Job Summary:
We are a boutique, closely-knit personal injury law firm seeking a stellar Legal Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling a mix of pre-litigation and litigation files in the area of personal injury; however, we are willing to provide training and educational opportunities for a motivated candidate.
We are NOT a volume firm - the candidate will enjoy a manageable caseload of normal to high complex cases, and will enjoy forming meaningful relationships with the firm's clients.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (pay rate commensurate with experience)
Expected hours: 40 per week
Ability to commute: Irvine, CA 92612 (required)

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys and case managers with legal research, document preparation, medical inquiries and management, and other general case management support
- Manage and organize incoming and existing legal documents and correspondence
- Perform intake calls
- Conduct factual investigations and gather relevant information to assist the attorneys and case managers in advancing cases to resolution
- Coordinate communication between clients, attorneys, medical providers, and court personnel
- Maintain attorney and case calendars, schedule appointments, and manage deadlines
- Perform other administrative tasks such as calendaring, filing, data entry, and phone support
