Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled professional dedicated to enhancing student well-being and academic success. This position is based in an elementary school environment in Plainfield, IL, where you will play a crucial role in supporting students ranging from 3rd to 5th grade.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct case study evaluations and formal testing using instruments such as WISC, WIAT, and KTEA.
- Provide counseling support to students as needed, addressing a variety of emotional and educational challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Serve as a resource for teachers and staff regarding psychological practices and interventions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and evaluation results.
Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist License in Illinois, with a Professional Educator License (PEL).
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
