Position Summary: The Trial Equipment Support provides day-to-day functions of the Trial Equipment department. This position ensures that all Trial and Loan devices are received into the enterprise resource planning system (ERP). These devices are cleaned, final tested, settings checked, and put away timely. Additionally, this position processes returned purchased devices and accessories and reassign to the Trial/Loaner pool. The Trial Equipment Support maintains high product quality standards by adhering to quality procedures and work instructions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for receiving and logging all service loaners, return for credit, trial, and evaluation loan equipment into the ERP system.
- Responsible for unpackaging and logging all other equipment pools, including training devices.
- Thoroughly cleans the incoming devices and accessories as directed by established procedures.
- Clears all previous customer information and sets the software up as new using established work instructions.
- Ensures all operating systems and apps are up to date.
- Tests chargers and switches and maintains inventory for shipments.
- Repackages all accessories and maintains inventory for shipments.
- Responsible for setting up service calls for any received devices needing servicing using ERP System.
- Maintains the device installed base and the device status in the ERP system.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong verbal communication and written skills.
- Ability to work well without direct supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with others. Must be tactful and patient.
- Be flexible and willing to adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Microsoft Office training or experience preferred.
- An understanding of the PRC-Saltillo Consultant Network and its function within the company is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of an ERP system and software used within the department is preferred.
