English Instructors, Math Instructors, and Science Instructors !
Prestige Institute is looking for part or full-time English Instructors, Math Instructors, and Science Instructors who can teach IN-PERSON at Westchester, NY !
Responsibilities:
Understanding of and comfort with explaining secondary-level or higher subject content.
> English Instructor
- Standardized Tests (SAT/ACT/SSAT) – English
- AP English (Preferred)
> Math Instructor
- Standardized Tests (SAT/ACT/SSAT) – Math
- AP Calc BC (Preferred)
- AP Stat (Preferred)
- AMC and more. (Preferred)
> Science Instructor
- Standardized Test (ACT) – Science
- AP Chem, AP Bio, AP Physics and more.
> Responsible and responsive work ethic. We highly regard communication and relationships with our students, so prioritizing the learning needs of students is important to us.
(We provide trainings to help teachers get accustomed to our settings.)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1 + years of Teaching / Tutoring experience required
- Could commit for at least a year
- Bachelor’s degree in subject area (preferred)
Schedule:
- Director is open and willing to discuss the schedule.
- Part-time or Full-time
Generally,
> Our institution's operating hours are afterschool hours & Saturdays during the school year
(Open Weekdays 12 pm-8 pm & Saturdays 9am-5. Varies by branches.)
> During summer, the schedules are a bit more set with intensive courses.
> Pay negotiations are available based on the candidate's experience.
