Substitute Teacher – Dallas, TX & Surrounding Communities

Teachers Now is actively seeking dependable and enthusiastic Substitute Teachers to serve schools across Dallas, TX and nearby areas. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact by ensuring instructional continuity when full-time educators are unavailable.
Your Role

Deliver classroom instruction by following the school’s prepared lesson plans

Create and maintain a structured, supportive, and positive learning environment

Guide student engagement and manage behavior to support learning goals

Supervise students in classrooms and common areas such as hallways, cafeterias, and playgrounds

Assign and monitor classwork and homework in alignment with lesson objectives

Maintain attendance records and report any issues to school administrators
-
Collaborate with staff to support both academic and behavioral success
-
For long-term placements, prepare and implement your own lesson plans in accordance with school curriculum
Availability Requirements

Available Monday through Friday

Full-Day Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
-
Half-Day Shifts: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
What We’re Looking For

Minimum of 60 college credit hours or an Associate’s degree (required)

Bachelor’s degree or valid Texas Teacher Certification (preferred)
-
At least 1 year of experience in a classroom or childcare setting
-
Excellent communication skills in English—both verbal and written
-
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
Pay/ compensation: 90-120 Per day (based on education/ certification)
