Join Our Team: Quality Technician – Aerospace Tooling (Akron, OH)

We’re a manufacturing company in Akron, OH that builds high-precision molds and fixtures for aerospace composite parts. We combine machining, 3D printing, and engineering expertise to deliver mission-critical tooling to some of the most innovative names in aerospace.
Now, we’re looking for a Quality Technician to help make sure our parts meet the strictest quality standards—yours.
What You’ll Do:

Use a portable CMM arm (Faro, Romer) to inspect 3D printed and machined parts

Work with PolyWorks or similar software to capture and analyze measurement data

Read technical drawings, interpret GD&T, and verify tolerances
-
Write clear inspection reports and maintain documentation for AS9100 compliance

Keep records up to date and support calibration tracking

Be part of a small, skilled team working with cutting-edge tools and processes
What You Bring:
-
0–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or quality inspection role
-
Comfortable using metrology tools—especially portable CMMs
-
Ability to understand and interpret GD&T and customer drawings
-
PolyWorks experience is great (but we’ll train the right person!)

Strong attention to detail and comfort working with documentation

A willingness to learn and grow in a technical environment

Excellent hand/eye coordination and dexterity
-
Comfortable lifting up to 70 lbs and being moderately active for 8 hours, including standing, kneeling, bending over, and climbing onto machine tables up to 20” high with reasonable accommodation

Ability to pass a color vision test
