We have 86 quarries and 56 asphalt plants across Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.
Rogers Group is currently seeking candidates to fill an OSS MILLWRIGHT CREW MEMBER position based out of our Gordonsville shop. Work will primarily be focused on the Gordonsville shop but may require occasional travel to serve nearby areas within a ±3 hour window. Occasionally, travel to sites outside of Tennessee will be required.
Job Responsibilities:
- \n
- Prepping and painting fabricated equipment.
- Operation of tools and machinery, and the basic principles of physics that govern them.
- Operate equipment to load/unload steel, materials, and finished equipment utilizing telehandler forklift and shop forklift.
- Aid in prepping materials to be used in fabrication by cutting, torching, and drilling holes.
- Utilize welding equipment.
- Hours of operation require ability to be flexible and will require some night and weekend work as well.
- Occasional extended travel/stays will be required; per diem to be provided. Overtime is required as needed.

Job Qualifications:
- \n
- Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
- Ability to acquire DOT Medical card.
- Mechanical Aptitude, ability to learn, and able to follow Directions.
- Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties independently, with minimum supervision while demonstrating sound judgement.
- Must be flexible on working hours and locations with the ability to adapt to different work environments.
- Must be flexible to occasionally travel outside state to other sites for extended stays (3-4 wks.)
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
