Our company is a well respected professional mortuary transport service serving funeral homes and coroners office for their transport needs.
This is an ENTRY Level position that is responsible for the care, removal, and transport of human remains in accordance with all state, local and company policies and procedures. (Evening hours)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Upon receiving a service request via phone, you will respond to the place of removal, transfer the decedent from place of death into the removal vehicle, and transport the decedent from place of death to requesting funeral home or medical facility.
Removal
Safely drives company owned professional vehicles to perform “first call” removals of deceased in accordance with local and state laws as well as company policies and procedures.
Have a cellular device, to retrieve and accept calls for service. For home removals, courteously and professionally interacts with bereaved family members; exhibits sensitivity to environment; minimizes conversation.
Submit deceased information according to company procedures, Transports deceased to airports, funeral homes or medical facilities.
Vehicle Maintenance Washes, vacuums, and cleans vehicles ensuring vehicle is presentable. Fuels vehicles as necessary. Follows safety guidelines and expenditure processes.
Maintains company provided personal protective and removal supplies in vehicles including cleaning products.
Pay: $400.00 - $700.00 per week

Qualified Candidates must meet the minimum requirements:
•Have a High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work on-call weekends, nights and holidays rotation
•Should reside within the Atlanta metro area
must have a clean driving record
must have reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds; push/pull up to 200 pounds.
• Must have clean driving record for the past 5 years
• Have a High school diploma or equivalent,
• Must be professional in appearance (wear all black professional attire)
• Good communication skills are must.
