Career Strategies is now hiring a Part-Time Apartment Maintenance Technician in the Rensselaer, IN area!
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team and support an apartment community. This position is perfect for someone with hands-on experience who enjoys variety in their day and takes pride in creating a great living environment for residents.
What You’ll Do:
- Complete make-readies, unit turns, and work orders
- Perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs
- Handle painting, drywall, and general maintenance tasks
- Maintain clean and safe community grounds (including snow removal in winter)
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff
- NO ON-CALL SHIFTS!
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 year of apartment maintenance experience
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have tools
- HVAC experience preferred (certification not required)
