POSITION SUMMARY:

The Service Lot Guard, Delivery/Receiving position is responsible for maintaining security and logging deliveries at Citizens Bank Park. This is a position that requires a high level of coordination, organization, and a high level of ability to communicate while maintaining the safety and security of deliveries to our ballpark. The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience managing deliveries, coordinating logistics, and working in a position that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting.

This is a part-time position that will run year round.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all delivery trucks arriving at Citizens Bank Park, verifying credentials and ensuring proper check-in procedures.
  • Scan and log driver information, confirming identities and maintaining detailed records.
  • Coordinate the flow of delivery vehicles at the Service Lot Gate and loading dock area to maintain efficiency and security.
  • Ensure all trucks undergo proper screening procedures, including K-9 inspections when required.
  • Communicate professionally with drivers, stadium personnel, and security teams, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Rotate weekend shifts with the team based on stadium event schedules.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Shifts will run from 6 AM – 3 PM for 2-4 days per week, depending on event schedules. Weekend work is required on a rotating basis.
  • Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, security, or receptionist roles where deliveries or visitor check-ins were managed is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
  • High attention to detail when recording and verifying delivery information.
  • Familiarity with electronic devices, such as iPads, two-way radios, scanners, and telephones.
  • Must pass a background check and obtain FBI clearance as a condition of employment.
  • Strong customer service skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and occasionally high-stress environment.

  • Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
  • Constant standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Frequent walking, which may involve ascending/descending stairs and walking up inclines and/or uneven surfaces.
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions for extended periods of time.
