Job Title: Maintenance/PLC Technician
Location: City of Industry
Pay: $32.00 to $38.00 (depending on experience) / Job Class: Temp-to-Hire
Summary: The Maintenance/PLC Technician will support the daily operations of bottling by ensuring the equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. In addition, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, including PLC’s, reducing downtime, and maintaining food safety standards.
Essential Functions:
- Repair and maintain bottling & packaging equipment
- Work with PLC systems to diagnose and correct faults
- Perform PM’s
- Read electrical and mechanical blueprints/schematics
- Assist with equipment installations and upgrades
- Collaborate with operations to reduce equipment-related downtime
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment per GMP and OSHA standards
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food or beverage manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with PLC, troubleshooting, and minor programming
- Strong knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Experience working with motors, relays, and sensors
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
