Soliant is currently hiring a Full-Time School Psychologist for a dynamic school district on the central coast of Maine for the uping 20252026 school year. This is an opportunity to work with a diverse student population and be part of a dedicated educational team that values collaboration, innovation, and whole-child support.

Position Snapshot

  • Job Title: School Psychologist

  • Type: Full-Time | 40 hours/week

  • Contract Dates: August 25, 2025 June 11, 2026 (subject to snow days)

  • Work Year: 183 Teacher Days

  • Format: In-Person Only

  • School Sites: 1 High School, 5 Elementary Schools, 1 Middle School, 1 Alternative Ed Campus

  • Caseload: Approx. 35 students due for re-evaluation, plus new referrals throughout the year (approx. 10 at the high school)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Cognitive and Achievement Testing

  • Administer Behavioral Rating Scales

  • Provide Diagnostic Impressions for eligibility determination

  • Participate in the IEP process, including report writing and team meetings

  • Engage with families to municate findings and remendations

  • plete in-house assessments 5 days per week

  • Occasionally support behavioral day treatment settings and implement FBAs

  • Counseling services available on an as-needed basis

  • Utilize the schools digital library of testing materials

What Youll Need

  • Active School Psychologist License in the State of Maine

  • pletion of CHRC Fingerprinting (via Identico, state-run)

  • Strong background in psychoeducational evaluation and collaborative consultation

  • fort working in-person with students with a range of academic, behavioral, and life skills needs
