As a Field Service Technician, you will be the face of our company, providing critical on-site service, maintenance, and technical expertise to ensure the optimal performance of our fuel cell units. This is a field-based role that requires strong self-management and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide fuel cell service during field visit dispatches across the assigned territory.
- Independently create daily workflows from a list of scheduled tasks, operating autonomously to meet service demands.
- Manage on-site preventative maintenance, repair, testing, and diagnostic tasks.
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine/implement proper, effective solutions.
- Operate a service vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate service vehicle and spare part inventory.
- Produce timely and detailed service reports as required by company protocols.
- Maintain and build positive relationships with customers, always ensuring a high level of service.
- Comprehend and follow all company procedures, protocols, and customer access requirements.
- Cooperate with our technical team and proactively share information across the organization.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role, preferably in a technical or electro-mechanical field.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously in the field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for clear internal reporting and positive customer interactions.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- A commitment to safety in all aspects of work.
