Overview
Are you an experienced residential real estate closer looking for a team that values your skills and supports your success? At Tucker Griffin Barnes P.C., we’ve built our reputation on teamwork, integrity, and solving problems—together. We’re currently hiring for our Charlottesville and Lake Monticello offices. This full-time role offers a competitive salary based on experience, semi-annual bonuses, and overtime pay if needed. Closers are supported by dedicated Pre-Closing and Post-Closing staff to help ensure seamless, efficient settlements.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare complete settlement packets for sales, purchases, and refinances
Draft and review Closing Disclosures and ALTA Settlement Statements
Communicate with lenders, agents, buyers, and sellers to coordinate closings
Ensure title requirements and deadlines are met
Oversee the disbursement of funds
Maintain accurate and organized closing files
Handle a steady volume of files using industry-standard software
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Residential Real Estate Closing Paralegal
Strong knowledge of closing procedures and title documentation
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Strong communication and client-service skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
