Production ChemistThis is an exciting opportunity to join a global, industry leading company. The Chemist will formulate products and intermediates utilizing biologicals and chemicals of varying properties and characteristics in order to meet specificationsResponsibilities:
- Responsible for bulk formulating products of low to medium complexity including intermediates in accordance with approved written procedures and policies.
- Perform data entry and inventory control utilizing the ERP database.
- Responsible for completing production documentation and maintaining quality records to GDP/GMP standards.
- Coordinate prioritize and plan lab tasks to meet strict deadlines.
- Follows controlled Standard Operation Procedures/ documents.
- Monitors manufacturing processes and performs adjustments when necessary to meet required yields.
Requirements and Desired Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a life science or related field
- 0-3 years working in a general manufacturing environment formulating products in the areas of biological sciences, life sciences, or an equivalent.
- Ability to follow guidelines and handle hazardous materials safely.
- Ability to work in a product team and make decision of limited scope, subject to review.
- Able to follow detailed procedures and have good documentation skills. Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices.
- Must be experienced in using ERP systems- SAP a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools – Excel and Word.
- Basic working knowledge of laboratory environments, materials, and equipment.
Pay Range (Based on Experience & Qualifications): $31 per hour
