As the Medical Physicist you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, accuracy, and effectiveness of radiation treatments. The AIOF medical physicist works in conjunction with the radiation oncologists and radiation oncology team as the director of the technical aspects of radiation oncology, responsible for all aspects of clinical radiation oncology physics.
You will work with Varian TrueBeam to deliver treatments (VMAT, SBRT, SRS/SRT, 3DCRT, and electrons), Eclipse and ARIA for TPS and EMR and a suite of physics efficiency tools from MIM, Radformation, and ImageOwl. An array of SNC equipment is utilized to assist with QA, including the DQA3 device, ArcCheck, SRSMapCheck, 1DTank, and IC Profiler. In addition, an IBA Blue Phantom 2 scanning tank with a variety of chambers and electrometers.
