Job Summary: Primary duties are installation and inspection of Siemens Building Automation systems. You will interact with HVAC and electrical subcontractors during new construction project installations as well as existing client owed building projects and service. This apprentice level position requires you to work alone and on a team depending on the project.

Duties included, but not limited to:

• Installation of building management systems
• • Run wiring, install devices and panel, program panel
  • Work with general, mechanical and electrical contractors for onsite installations
  • Check out and inspection of control systems
• Service calls on BAS systems
• Assisting other technicians when necessary
• Driving to job site(s)
• Follow safety standards set by ACS & OSHA
• Quality control on proper installation of BAS systems
• Completing timesheet, inventory used, job packets, and other paperwork

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED

• Experience in principals of HVAC and/or electrical systems ( not required for consideration but is a plus)

• Valid drivers licenses

• Willingness to learn

• Ability to work a flexible work week

• Ability to work occasional evenings and/or weekend (rare)

• Ability to work overtime

• Ability to be on call

• Ability to work with limited supervision

• Client focused

• Organized

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Ability to resolve issues

• Ability to multi-task

• Ability to work occasionally out of town with overnight stays (very rare)

• Must be a team player and serve as a back-up when teammates are unavailable

• Ability to build and retain working relationships

Physical Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs

• Prolonged walking / standing

• Lifting and working above shoulders

• Pushing, pulling, grasping, twisting, and bending

• Kneeling, squatting, climbing, crawling, and stooping
