Schedule: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Overnight, rotating or fixed schedule)
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Brick Production Associate to join our overnight team in Wadesboro, NC. This position plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality production. You'll start by performing quality checks and using basic hand tools, with the opportunity to grow into a Machine Operator role where you'll learn the full process of manufacturing and machine troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect bricks and cubes for quality, ensuring correct dimensions, consistency, and color.
- Use hand tools such as a tape measure and caliper to verify measurements and maintain product accuracy.
- Monitor brick color and consistency before loading materials into the mixer.
- Support machine operations by assisting with changeovers to different brick sizes.
- Learn to troubleshoot and reset machines to maintain continuous production.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe throughout the shift.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production or quality issues.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or quality control preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise measurements.
- Comfortable using hand tools, tape measures, and calipers.
- Mechanically inclined and eager to learn machine operations.
- Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety and quality.
