What You’ll Do:
- Design and Development: Take a hands-on role in the design, development, and deployment of next-generation AI hardware solutions. Work directly on the intricate details of hardware systems, with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Custom Silicon: Engage in the direct design of systems utilizing custom silicon, ensuring the hardware meets the specific demands of trillion-parameter AI models.
- Integration: Collaborate closely with software, AI, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components, focusing on hands-on problem-solving and optimization.
- Prototyping and Production: Lead the end-to-end hardware lifecycle, from initial concept and prototyping to production and deployment, with a strong emphasis on direct technical involvement.
- Technical Problem-Solving: Dive into complex technical challenges, applying your problem-solving skills to ensure the hardware products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
- Innovation: Stay on the cutting edge of industry trends and emerging technologies, constantly identifying opportunities for hands-on innovation and competitive advantage.
- Resource Management: Work with key suppliers, partners, and stakeholders to secure the necessary resources and technology for hardware development, with a focus on direct technical collaboration
Requirements
What You Bring to the Table:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree (MS or PhD) is preferred but not required.
- Experience: 15+ years of hands-on experience in hardware engineering, particularly in the AI or high-performance computing sectors. Direct experience with custom silicon design is essential.
- Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in designing and developing hardware systems, with deep knowledge of semiconductor technologies, hardware architecture, and systems integration.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to tackle technical challenges head-on, with a hands-on approach to solving complex hardware problems.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work directly with cross-functional teams to achieve seamless integration and development.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a hands-on approach to adapting to changing priorities and technical demands.
