Position Summary:
The Principal Scientist / Associate Director of Translational Medicine will be an individual contributor and will lead a small team of scientists. He/she will be responsible for the pre-clinical in vitro and in vivo characterization of novel antibody therapeutics.
Requirements:
Minimum Education/Experience
· PhD in Immunology, Cancer Biology, Immuno-Oncology or related discipline with 10+ years post-PhD experience, including industry experience
· Experience and understanding of biopharmaceutical drug development, including bi-specific antibodies
· Experience with immunological techniques (flow cytometry, intracellular staining, cytotoxicity assays, ELISA, etc.) primary cell culture, tissue processing, etc…
· Experience in study design, protocol development, and CRO vetting for in vivo studies. Experience with development of humanized tumor Xenograft mouse models is essential
· Experience in the areas of T cell targeting and Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) System is highly desirable
· Experience managing and developing teams
· Self-motivated individual with good record keeping and good written and verbal communication skills
