What's Involved?

Imagine yourself mastering the day-to-day functionalities of a production unit, guiding your team towards achieving outstanding results in safety, quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness. From orchestrating Lean activities to personally mentoring your team, your role is hands-on every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Champion Lean processes that make our operations smarter and more efficient, leading Kaizen sessions and removing inefficiencies.
  • Ensure daily schedules align with goals, manage team allocations, and monitor production targets.
  • Utilize tools like ADP for timecards and payroll management, and design work schedules.
  • Work closely with HR to ensure optimal hiring and seamless onboarding.
  • Foster team development, preparing crew members for future leadership roles.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels from the factory floor to executive meetings.
  • Manage and report plant performance using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Impressively host visitors with professionalism and plant familiarity.
  • Proactively maintain a safety-focused work environment through talks, training, and checks.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bring along 3-5+ years in leadership within an industrial environment.
  • Full fluency in Spanish and English, communicating both verbally and in writing.
  • A tangible leadership presence on the floor.
  • Technical prowess regarding mechanical systems and processes.
  • A problem-solving mindset geared towards continual progress.
  • Commanding communicative abilities with a wide organizational audience.
  • Deep familiarity with Lean manufacturing strategies.
  • Proficient in Office tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Expert time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A relevant diploma, associate's degree, or equivalent professional background (bachelor's desirable).

Bonus Points for:

  • Operational experience with ADP systems.
  • Experience with ERP or other manufacturing systems.
