Picture the first minutes of a production run: plastic cups and bottles glide off the line, graphics crisp, edges smooth. You’re there at the heart of it—verifying that every piece meets spec and that our ready-to-drink cocktails are packaged to perfection.
Your day-to-day
- Partner with production to spot trends early, resolve issues quickly, and prevent defects before they multiply.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections on plastic cups/bottles using visual checks and dimensional measurements per established SOPs.
- Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators to validate critical dimensions.
- Document inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actions with complete, legible records.
- Verify the schedule, product, and materials before and during runs to ensure the right inputs are on the line.
- Champion Quality, Safety, Food Safety, and Environmental standards across the floor; escalate equipment, quality, environmental, and food safety issues to your supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a clean, orderly work area and support teammates to operate safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as OSHA and FSSC guidelines; uphold GMP, HACCP, and FSQA expectations.
- Support environmental compliance, energy-saving efforts, and recycling practices.
- Follow safety requirements including PPE, LOTO, emergency preparedness, machine guarding, and general safety rules.
- Contribute wherever needed—other duties as assigned.
What you bring
- Strong communicator who collaborates effectively across shifts and departments.
- Knowledge of quality control principles and hands-on inspection experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset to interpret data/metrics and drive continuous improvement and corrective action.
- Experience with APQP and FSQA concepts; solid quality control background.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and multitasking.
- Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Physical & schedule requirements
- Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working on mezzanines, ladders, and steps.
- Operate in tight spaces and variable conditions (hot/cold, wet, noisy).
- Available for overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
