The Retreat at Sunny Vista is seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Partners to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care team. Care Partners play a vital role in providing high-quality, person-centered care that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life for our residents. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about caregiving and making a meaningful difference every day.
This is a Full-Time position. Day Shift 6 am-6 pm (12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
Support residents with memory loss by offering patience, reassurance, and structured routines
Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or cognitive condition to the nurse or a member of management
Assist with meal service, hydration, and nutrition monitoring
Encourage resident engagement in daily activities and social programs
Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment
Follow all care plans, safety protocols, and community policies
Promote resident dignity, respect, and privacy at all times
Work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and leadership team members
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or caregiving preferred (but not required)
Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and team members
Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to assist with resident transfers and mobility support

The base range represents the low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.
