The Opportunity:
As a Partner Attorney, you will lead the worker’s compensation department. From conducting evidence depositions to arbitration hearings and jury trials, this role offers a hands-on opportunity to utilize your courtroom skills. A desire for trial exposure is a must for this position. This role is intended for an autonomous self-starter who can hit the ground running on day one.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to Illinois State Bar
- 3-5 years of experience with Worker’s Compensation matters
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with client matter databases (Clio, Smokeball, etc.)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Passion for advocating on behalf of injured individuals
- Portable business a plus
