Position Overview
Gi-Techs is hiring Field Service Technicians in Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and additional regions.
Each technician will be assigned to a specific city or regional service area and will travel locally within their assigned coverage zone to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance services.
Technicians with strong electrical and plumbing experience are preferred. Those with HVAC certification qualify for the highest hourly pay range.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical repairs, installations, and upgrades (outlets, panels, breakers, lighting, wiring, etc.)
- Diagnose and repair plumbing systems, including leaks, drains, water heaters, garbage disposals, and fixture installations
- (If certified) Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including condensers, mini-splits, thermostats, and ductwork
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Gi-Techs with professionalism
- Complete service documentation accurately and promptly
- Follow safety and quality assurance procedures
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in top condition
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical and/or plumbing trades
- Experience with garbage disposals, water heaters, and plumbing fixtures
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to travel within assigned cities and regional area
- Professional appearance, communication, and work ethic
Preferred (Higher Pay Range):
- HVAC certification (EPA or state-licensed)
- Experience with mini-split systems and smart thermostat installations
- Veterans and VTEC graduates are highly encouraged to apply
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay Range:
- 
- Electrical & Plumbing Technicians: $25–$30/hr
- With HVAC Certification: $30–$40/hr
