Key Responsibilities of the Mathematics Support Specialist:

Qualifications for the Mathematics Support Specialist:
- An active Rhode Island Secondary Mathematics Teacher Certification is required.

- Proficient in designing structured lesson plans with measurable outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret student data for instructional decisions.
- Familiarity with educational technology and virtual learning tools.
- In-depth knowledge of math intervention best practices and current educational research.
- Effective classroom management and a student-centered teaching approach.
