Key Responsibilities of the Mathematics Support Specialist:

Qualifications for the Mathematics Support Specialist:

  • An active Rhode Island Secondary Mathematics Teacher Certification is required.

  • Proficient in designing structured lesson plans with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret student data for instructional decisions.
  • Familiarity with educational technology and virtual learning tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of math intervention best practices and current educational research.
  • Effective classroom management and a student-centered teaching approach.
