Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school district in Howell, MI is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to provide prehensive psychological services throughout the next school year under a contract position. This role is integral to supporting student success by addressing academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs across grades K-12.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results to inform individualized education programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies that support student learning and well-being
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Monitor student progress and adjust support strategies accordingly
- Assist in pliance with state and federal regulations related to special education and student services
Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist certification or licensure appropriate for Michigan K-12 settings
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and data-driven interventions in schools
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
- Excellent munication and organizational skills
