Responsibilities
As a Permanent M&A Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Advising clients on a broad array of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, providing strategic counsel and guidance.
2. Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of agreements associated with M&A transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, merger agreements, and joint venture agreements.
3. Conducting thorough due diligence reviews to identify potential legal risks and issues.
4. Collaborating with other legal professionals in the firm to ensure a comprehensive approach to client service.
5. Providing guidance on regulatory compliance matters related to M&A transactions.
6. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and providing tailored legal advice.
7. Keeping abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may affect M&A transactions and advising clients accordingly.
Job Details
The successful candidate must have:
1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney, with a significant focus on M&A transactions.
3. Extensive experience in transactional real estate.
4. Admittance to the state bar where practicing.
5. Exceptional negotiation and drafting skills, with a keen attention to detail.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
8. The ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
9. A high degree of professionalism and integrity.
