Now Hiring: CNC Machinist Set Up (1st/2nd Shift available)
- Must have Lathe and Mill machine set up operations experience.
Position Summary:
- Machine Setup: Selects and loads programs, sets up fixtures, changes tools, touches off tools, and adjusts offsets.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Tests new programs, troubleshoots and fixes issues when they arise, and can recover the machine from crashes.
- Optimization: Identifies and implements process improvements, adjusts machine settings to improve efficiency, and ensures optimal speeds and feeds.
- Advanced Maintenance: Performs more advanced maintenance, such as replacing tool inserts and collets.
- Blueprint Reading: Interprets blueprints and work orders to ensure the machine is set up and running correctly for the project.
