Do you have a passion for making a difference in people’s lives? Village Caregiving is seeking compassionate Caregivers, CNAs, and Home Health Aides to provide one-on-one, in-home support to clients.

Location: This role serves clients across Clayton County, Iowa, including Guttenberg and a current need in Garnavillo. Applicants must have reliable transportation.

Village Caregiving is based in Iowa City and proudly serves clients across 30 counties in Iowa, with additional office locations available for those interested in opportunities beyond Lee County.

Schedule: This is a PRN (as needed) or part-time role around 24 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase hours as our team and client base continue to grow.

️‍ What You’ll Be Doing

As a caregiver, your role will involve providing essential support and care to clients in a one-on-one setting. You’ll help improve their quality of life through:

• Personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, hygiene, and dressing

• Assisting with mobility and patient transfers

• Preparing meals and ensuring proper nutrition

• Performing light housekeeping tasks

• Offering companionship and emotional support

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Ability to provide emotional and physical support with kindness and empathy

• Willingness to follow health and safety standards and guidelines

• Committed to reliability and excellent communication with clients, families, and coworkers

• Passionate about helping people maintain independence and dignity at home

• Comfortable supporting clients who may experience challenges such as mobility limitations or memory-related conditions, with patience and compassion
