ABOUT STANADYNE:
Stanadyne is known around the world as a leading supplier of diesel fuel systems and components. Our Jacksonville manufacturing facility has about 250 employees operating over three shifts.
Job Summary:
Storing, identifying, issuing, requisitioning, maintaining inventory, receiving, and shipping all types of materials. Maintains accurate inventory on same.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates hand and powered material handling equipment to receive, store, and issue supplies.
- Delivers crib items to other cribs or various departments as directed.
- Maintains accurate inventory and other records on computer.
- Counting of material to check inventory when stock is low and participate in cycle counts and annual wall-to-wall inventory.
- Observes all plant and departmental safety practices and procedures.
- Follows housekeeping procedures in maintaining a neat and orderly work area.
- Verifying the accuracy and completeness of transactions performed by others throughout the operation.
- Ability to transact Future3 shipping transactions/ASN submissions.
Qualifications:
- Mindful of and ensures 5S processes are followed.
- Must be able to understand, follow and deliver instructions in English and communicate well between shift personnel.
- Must be able to operate hand and power material handling equipment.
- Must have good computer skills, Microsoft Office suite, to include data entry, system logon, record saving and printing.
- Must be able to identify inventory and transaction discrepancies.
- Must be highly organized and have strong attention to details.
- Must be certified to competently operate a forklift.
- Must be able to read and understand operation sheets.
- Must be courteous and polite when dealing with customers.
- Strong math aptitude, including proficiency with decimals and fractions.
Education and/or Experience:
- Must be high school graduate or equivalent. Technical schooling a plus
- Previous experience in Materials or overseeing a Inventory in a plant environment a must.
Physical Requirements:
- Up to 50lbs max weightlifting without assistance.
- Continuous walking/standing/stretching/bending/kneeling is required for the position.
Working Conditions:
- Must be willing to work in oil and water-soluble fluids.
- Must be able to work with limited supervision.
- Required working overtime from time to time to include weekends or extended hours.
