Showroom & Design Manager (with inside sales/sales support/admin)

• Showroom & Design Leadership

  • Oversees the showroom experience and customer design consultations.

  • Manages product displays, samples, and merchandising.

  • Trains and supports sales consultants/design specialists.

  • Provides expert guidance on flooring, colors, and styles.

  • Coordinates with the project coordinator to align customer selections with job requirements.

• Inside Sales & Sales Support

  • Handles incoming calls, walk-in customers, and online inquiries.

  • Assists sales consultants with quotes, product availability, and lead follow-ups.

  • Prepares and organizes sales materials for appointments.

  • Maintains customer records in the CRM/POS system.

• Light Administrative Duties

  • Schedules design and measure appointments.

  • Updates customer files and processes sample orders.

  • Provides backup support for invoicing, payments, or general office needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in flooring, interior design, retail sales, or a related industry (preferred).

• Strong knowledge of flooring products, colors, styles, and design trends.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.

• Experience in inside sales or sales support, including quoting, lead follow-up, and order processing.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

• Basic administrative skills, including scheduling, data entry, and document management.

• Proficiency with Google, POS/CRM software, or estimating systems.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

• Comfortable with both creative design consultation and the business side of sales and operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in design, business, or related field preferred.
